"Please let me to thank you for the warm welcoming from your side. It’s the first time when I´m in this position, in the position of the first man," said the ambassador’s husband, who currently serves as ambassador in Ankara, Turkey.
He also informed Mrs. Gašparovičová about his experiences from abroad. "I am delighted that Slovakia is not only a member of the European Union, but since 2009 also a member of the Eurozone. I must say that I like the most the Slovak euro coins, which are so vivid," said Jan-Paul Dirks. Among the topics of talks resonated the economic crisis that troubled the last months not only Slovakia but the whole world.
