President receives Serbian Prime Minister Ana Brnabić

On Tuesday, President Kiska received Ana Brnabić, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Serbia during her official visit to Slovakia.

Support for innovations and start-ups were one of the main topics of discussion. President Kiska pointed out the need to motivate young people to do business, as well as the importance of quality institutions of higher education, the presence of which is often the main factor considered by innovative companies when making investment decisions.

President Kiska was also interested in the developments in Serbia, public support for access to the European Union and the attitudes of the Serbian general public towards NATO.

Prime Minister Brnabić expressed her thanks for Slovakia’s support for Serbia’s integration in the EU, which is Serbia’s most important foreign policy priority, and she presented her views of the events in the Western Balkans.
